How to Connect Bushnell Launch Pro / GC3 to GSPro
If you’ve got a Bushnell Launch Pro or a Foresight GC3 and want to connect to GSPro it is very easy to do with just a few things to be aware of.
Step 1. Download GameChanger
GameChanger v2.1 Download Link <– DMCA notice made me take down the link but it can still be found if you know where to look.
To ensure that everything connects properly, there is an order of operations that must be done.
Step 2. Connect your Launch Monitor to the PC
Step 3. Open GameChanger and wait for it to connect / turn green
Step 4. Open GSPro and wait for it to connect / turn green.
If your BLP or GC3 doesn’t doesn’t connect to OpenAPi via Gamechanger here are a few things to check.
- If you’re using Wifi to connect to your PC make sure that the BLP and GC3 are on the same Wifi network
- Additionally, a lot of wifi routers these days have both 2.4ghz bands and 5ghz bands, while they should still interconnect fine, I’ve had difficulty when one was on a different band than the other.
- Ideally, plug in the launch monitor via USB into the PC for the most reliable connection
Additional Connection Troubleshooting
If you’re like me and leave your simulator on most of the time, I’ve found occasionally the PC will need to be restarted for both GameChanger and GSPro to connect despite two green bars for each. I’m not exactly sure what’s happening but I’m guessing it has something to do with how Windows goes to sleep. A quick restart of the PC and then starting at step 2 above works 99% of the time.
